I studied screenwriting at MA level. So believe me when I say I know just how important those first five seconds are. I have a keen eye for knowing where attention drops off and how to keep someone engaged to the end. I bring that to every script I write, whether it's 30 seconds or 10 minutes.
I write scripts that sound easy on the ear when spoken. That means I include short sentences and allow for natural pauses. I also get rid of anything that sounds like something nobody would actually say. If you want, I can also add notes for visuals and voiceover direction.
